Flower of Life
Use a palette of brilliantly colored jump rings to create a hexagon-shaped pendant that resembles the "Flower of Life" pattern in sacred geometry. Create your own color design, or follow one of the patterns in the instructions. Though the weave itself is not difficult, using tiny rings and creating a pattern with different colors makes this a challenging project for some students. Our tutorial includes "coloring paper" so you can plan your pattern. Follow the instructions step by step to see exactly when to add which colors of rings.
** NOTE: No instructions are currently available for this design. This is an archived page intended to provide eye candy and inspiration. **
Example shown uses aluminum rings with purple, red, and black AA.
Prerequisite: Proficiency in at least 5 chainmaille weaves. Knowledge of Japanese 12-in-2 (Japanese Lace) extremely helpful.
