To create your necklace, weave a stainless steel Jens Pind necklace and add a Nailmaille® heart.

Meet the Artist

Mike Wille is the creator and the founder of Nailmaille® Art Jewelry. He is a welder/fabricator with over 20 years of experience, and has been an artist of mixed media since he was a teenager. Mike’s artistic vision is to repurpose industrial materials and processes for making jewelry and accentuate aspects of the manufactured style rather than disguise them. He uses metal that is traditionally difficult to work with and highlights weld fillers instead of concealing them. The welded “marks” showcase his skill and experience, as this type of welding is as much of an art as it is a science. In addition to Nailmaille® Art Jewelry, Mike creates geometric yard sculptures, and builds tools and machines that are used for anything from jewelry design to industrial mechanics repairs. His work has been featured in many local events, at the Black Box Diamond Gallery of Jewelry Design, the "Calendar for a Cure" motorcycle calendar, and is now represented in the Illinois State Museum Shop in Thompson Center in downtown Chicago.
