B152149 Triad Bull's Eye Necklace

Description: Combine aluminum and rubber rings to create a symmetrical bibbed necklace in Rebeca's signature intricate style. Colorful rings can be substituted for the black rings. Students can take advantage of pre-work to get a head start on their piece before class.
Students will Learn: Tips and tricks to make this recently invented weave; how to work with rubber O-rings; how to add a bead; proper sizing of a necklace.
Prerequisites: Fluency with Japanese Bulls Eye, Helm Chain (Parallel), plus three additional intermediate or advanced-level weaves. Students should be comfortable with the idea of using small jump rings in tight spots, as well as working with very large jump rings.
Project will not be completed in class.
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring: Beading mat, task lamp.
Pliers: Flatnose without grooves, flush end-cutting, roundnose, rubber-coated, small flatnose. Instructor prefers Lindstrom.
Materials in Kit: Aluminum jump rings, rubber rings, chain, lobster claw clasp, Swarovski crystal briolette, eye pin, instructions.
Limit: One seat per person per class.
