Bead Fest - Colorful Rondo a la Byzantine

	• Creating Helm Chain weave and Byzantine weaves
	• Combining the two weaves to create a wide cuff
	• Where to position colored rings to achieve desired affects
	• How to bring this piece to an elegant closure at the clasp point

Use aluminum and anodized aluminum rings to create the now classic Rondo a la Byzantine weave, the instructor's most popular weave. Students will combine two popular weaves—Helm with Byzantine—and will learn how to create a subtly reversible color scheme. You WILL NOT complete this project in class.

Prerequisites:

Fluency with at least 5 chainmaille weaves, including Byzantine.
