We offer several ear and clasp findings to help bring your piece to an elegant finish. For each clasp, the largest size ring that can fit through the attachment hole is given (Silver clasp info will be in AWG, the gauge system typically used for sterling silver; base metal clasps will be in SWG, the guage system Blue Buddha Boutique uses for aluminum, steel, brass, copper and bronze.)

Brass Earwires (French Hook style)

These earwires are made of hypo-allergenic niobium. The swatches at left show the full color spectrum available. We like these earwires, because the holes are larger than what is sometimes sold in niobium. (Larger holes = more versatile and easier to work with.) Wire size is 20g AWG (0.8mm, 0.032"). Sold by the pair, 5 pair or 15 pair.
Important! There are color variations from earring to earring. We will try to send you earwires that are as close as possible in color, but if you order a 10 pack, you might have 4 earwires that are slightly darker, and 6 that are lighter. (We will, however, avoid sending a single earwire that doesn't match any others!)
The multi-mix earwire pack (available only in bulk) will have pairs of different colored earwires. Each multi-mix will be different, but you are guaranteed to receive at least 6 different colors in your batch (most will have 12+ color pairs)

These ear backs have a large enough hole to accomodate the earwires we sell, which have may be too thick to fit other ear backs. Sold by the pair, 5 pair, or 1 gross (72 pair).

A stunning way to finish a maille bracelet or necklace. The textured circles echo the jump ring circles, and the curve of the bar adds an eye-catching "ooh" factor. Each toggle weighs approximately 3.5g. Bar is approx 2.5 cm, and the holes can accommodate the largest gauge silver ring we sell—14g AWG (1.63 mm, 0.064")—with room to spare.
This oxidized-finish toggle is handcrafted. Eight "rivets" emerge from the top of the toggle and have been buffed to a shiny finish. The underside of the toggle is smooth. Each toggle weighs approximately 4.3g. Curved bar is approx 3 cm, and the holes can accommodate up to two 14g AWG jump rings (1.63 mm, 0.064").
Fancy sterling silver toggle, as used in the Crystal Ring Byzantine bracelet Bar is approx 2.5 cm long; square is 19.5 mm x 23 mm, and the holes can accommodate up to a 15g AWG jump ring (1.45 mm, 0.057").
These handmade toggles were created to coordinate with anodized aluminum and enameled copper pieces. Because the toggles are individually made, expect slight variations in color and finish. The circle toggle is approximately 15 mm across, and the square toggle is about 18 mm long. The bars are 22 mm. The holes in the bar and toggle can easily accomodate up to a 16 SWG ring (0.062" / 1.6 mm).
This dramatic toggle measures 26 mm across, with a 24 mm bar. Like the small toggles above, these are handmade, so no two will be exactly alike, and you should expect slight variations in color and finish. The holes in the bar and toggle can easily accomodate up to a 16 SWG ring (0.062" / 1.6 mm). Note, however, that because the hole on the bar is near the center of the component, you'll need a ring with an inner diameter of at least size I (13/64" / 5.2 mm) in order to easily close it around the bar and still have enough room to link it to another jump ring.

A beautiful way to finish a bronze maille bracelet or necklace. The color is close to the jewelry brass and copper, and could be used with either, though the match won't be exact. Because this is a solid bronze toggle, it will tarnish. Each toggle weighs approximately 3.1g. Bar is approx 2.3 cm, and the holes can accommodate up to a 14g SWG ring (2.0 mm, 0.08").

We replaced our old lobster claws with these lead-free ones! Available in 4 finishes—copper, gunmetal, silver-color and gold—and a few different sizes. The current lobster is slightly smaller than the one we previously carried.
The length of this lobster claw is 14mm, and the hole will fit up to an 18g SWG ring (1.2 mm, 0.048").
These ginormous lobster claws are perfect for large necklaces and for folks who have difficulty with the smaller clasps. Available in 4 finishes—silver-color, copper, gunmetal and gold. The photo shows the huge lobster claws next to the regular 14 mm lobster claw to give you a sense of scale.
The length of this lobster claw is 22 mm, and the hole will fit up to a 16g SWG ring (1.6 mm, 0.062").
Choose from two sizes (the small clasp has been discontinued). Each clasp includes an attachment jump ring, but you can remove it and add your own if you prefer.

These clasps are easier to close than the regular lobster claws. The large is especially nice on chunky necklaces. Small clasp is 15mm long; the hole accomodates up to two 17g AWG rings (1.15 mm, 0.045"). Large clasp is 19.4 mm long and can fit up to two 16g AWG rings (1.3 mm, 0.051")
The sturdy bail is perfect to finish your pendants. Available in Copper, Gold, Gunmetal and Nickel finish. Small bail measures 9 mm long; hole accomodates up to two 18g SWG rings (1.2 mm, 0.48 "). Large bail is 17mm long; hole accomodates up to two 16g SWG rings (1.6 mm, 0.62 ").
Three different bails to use with your maille designs. The Filagree has the smallest openings; the Twist is slightly bigger, and the Smooth bail is the largest. The hole is soldered closed for the Smooth bail. For the Filagree and Twist bails, you can use your pliers on the "jump ring" hole on the bottom to adjust it larger or smaller as necessary.

Pressed glass beads in a variety of colors. Ring measures 9.5 mm across, with a 3.5 mm hole.
These are easily combined with jump rings to give your chainmaille a new look. (However, be gentle with them, as they are glass and can shatter if you drop them!) Size and shape may vary slightly and color may vary from dye lot to dye lot. Sold in packs of 4 dozen (48 pc).
Please expect size variations from ring to ring (and from color to color). These size variations are minimal, except with the hematite rings which can vary greatly. The size differences do not affect the Glass Caterpillar weave.
