ALUM

(Bright) Aluminum alloy 5356

easy to work with.

SSTL

Stainless alloy 304
can be very hard to work with in 18ga and 16ga, so beginners and those with hand problems
may wish to avoid using SSTL altogether. (Or test your strength with the Try-Before-You-Commit SSTL pack below.

JBRS

Brass alloy C226

easy to work with.

BRNZ

Bronze alloy C150

can be challenging in 18ga and especially 16ga.

COPP

Copper alloy C110

easy to work with.

Steel is tough! In fact, about 85% of our returns are from folks who discovered steel was too difficult for them! Now you can test few rings before you buy a regular size pack to see if you can handle steel, especially in the thicker gauges.
