What kinds of projects do you think we should create?

survey-pieWe do our best to create products based on customer ideas and feedback as often as we can.  Often, we’ll post questions or photos to the Blue Buddha Boutique page on Facebook to help us figure out what you would like us to create to keep you growing as a mailler.  Below is a link to a survey all about B3 projects.  Wish we had more beginning level projects?  Want more necklaces?  Think we should be tackling certain weaves?  This is your time to let us know!

YOUR idea could become a B3 Tutorial!

Last month, we added some extra-LARGE rings to our inventory after they proved to be super-popular in one of our sales.  These rings are so cool, we want to create some project tutorials and kits just for them.  That’s where you come in.

We invite you to submit your project ideas for these BIG rings.  Projects can be bracelets, earrings, pendants, necklaces, rings, sculptures, you name it!  The project must use one or more of the following sizes:

CC16 (16ga 1/2″ / 16ga 12.7 mm)
CC14 (14ga 1/2″ / 14ga 12.7 mm)
KK16 (16ga 5/8″ / 16ga 15.9 mm)
KK14 (14ga 5/8″ / 14ga 15.9 mm)
SS14 (14ga 3/4″ / 14ga 19.1 mm)

To submit your idea, you’ll need to complete our project proposal form which includes basic information about the project (materials list, description, etc.) as well as information about how you’d like to be involved with making the tutorial (providing photos or instructions or having us do all that.)  You will also need to include up to 3 photo of the finished piece.

GO TO THE PROPOSAL FORM

Submit your idea to us by 5pm CT on June 30th to be considered.  If you have questions or need assistance with your proposal, you may send us an email at [email protected].  Learn more about what it means to work with Blue Buddha to create a chainmaille tutorial in our FAQ.

Happy Weaving – we can’t wait to see what you create!

Finishing your “Spiked Cuff” bracelet

We just released a B3 tutorial for Rebeca’s “Celtic Spikes” bracelet and included a few bonus variations on the weave to keep your imagination flowing.  We got such a strong response from our community on Facebook about the “Spiked Cuff” variation that we had to release a limited time kit for it.

You can grab your “Spiked Cuff” kit in the project section of our website through the end of June.  To finish the piece perfectly, follow the diagram below.  Happy Weaving!
