Your dollars now go further at Blue Buddha!

Here at Blue Buddha, we are always listening to your feedback and looking to improve customer satisfaction. The number one request that you’ve had in recent years is to lower prices.
You spoke, we heard. And …
*drum roll*

new prices

We’ve lowered our loose ring prices AND simplified our mix ‘n’ match discount.

For many months, we’ve been negotiating better pricing from vendors and we’ve even switched some vendors (keeping the quality high, of course). Due to our purchasing volume, we are now eligible for additional price breaks for some vendors.
We’re excited to be able to pass along these new savings to you. As of February, the following prices for loose ring packs have been lowered from their 2014 values by approximately:

Additionally, we’ve simplified our  Mix and Match discount structure, making it easier for you to save even more money when you mix and match eligible packs of rings.

We hope you’re as excited about these changes as we are! Please let us know what other suggestions you have, as we are always listening!

Happy weaving!

Artisan Market Mondays: Snarky Sleeves by Michelle Kaffko (last call!)

IMG_20150226_132455(1)

Some estimates are as high as 23 billion paper coffee cups per year are used and thrown away in the U.S. alone.  Each one of those cups is accompanied by an equally wasteful cardboard sleeve.

Snarky Sleeves tries to reduce a small portion of that paper waste with delightfully snarky words and phrases.  These sleeves are made from 100% recycled post-consumer PET plastic bottles, so you can feel even more eco-awesome.

An even better reason to snag every Snarky Sleeve you can ASAP? This is the last call for Snarky Sleeves. That’s right, Michelle is retiring from this venture and on to the next, so get ‘em while you can!

All of the Snarky Sleeves are handmade in Chicago, IL out of domestically made materials.

WhIMG_20150226_131942ile it’s now March and spring will technically be beginning soon, here in Chicago we know there’s going to be several more weeks of winter cold left.  Why not treat yourself and stay warm with a luxurious handmade scarf by Elegant Handknits?  Judi Peman (Elegant Handknit’s creator) knows how to combine truly beautiful yarns with patterns that show off their soft and subtle coloring well.

She says of her work:  “We specialize in accessories knit from high quality natural and synthetic yarns such as fine wool, silk, cotton, mohair, alpaca, bamboo, and for our friends with allergies, synthetic blends. Especially crafted for you in Chicago, Illinois, our scarves, hats, shawls, neck warmers, necklaces, and cowls will keep you warm enough for a Chicago winter as well as adding a colorful, festive look to your wardrobe.”
