I’m excited to announce that beginning with the April/May 2010 issue, I’ll be a contributing editor forStep by Step Wire Jewelry magazine. This means that I’ll be looking at the chainmaille articles to verify ring counts, clarify steps and reduce confusion about ring sizes. This gig is heavenly for me. Not only am I extremely meticulous about chainmaille in general, but I have a journalism degree from Northwestern University, so I’m able to merge two of my passions.
It is important to me, and to the staff of Step by Step Wire Jewelry, that the magazine is always giving you, the readers, what you want and need. So I’m asking you—how do you think the chainmaille articles could be improved? What has been confusing about previous articles? What chainmaille projects have you enjoyed? Anything else you want us to know? You can leave a comment below or email me at [email protected]. The staff of Step by Step Wire Jewelry truly values your opinions, and together we will work to make the projects better than ever before.
