Nested Ring
A great intro class for those who would like to try their hand at wire wrapping. This is a beginner level wire wrapping class where students will learn how to make a nest ring with a bead and 1 single piece of wire. We will go over techniques for ring sizing, wrapping and nesting the wire around the bead, coiling the wire for the ring band and tucking in the wire ends to finish your ring.
The wire offered in the class is mainly enameled copper and copper as this is the softest and easiest wire for beginners to learn with. The beads in the kits are semi precious stones.
Students will get enough materials to make 2 rings but may only be able to finish 1 in the class. Materials also included with the class fee are a plastic ring mandrel and plastic ring sizer.
Class space is limited to 6 students.
